Dimensional Modeling Risks

It is a credit to Ralph Kimball that the dimensional modeling techniques are still widely used today.  This article identifies some of the concerns with the practice that are due mainly to  misunderstandings of the technique.  Most common among those is the practice of duplicating/copying attributes instead of following dimensional modeling best-practices.
